BBQ Chicken Wings with Mexican Salsa

Ingredients

CHICKEN WINGS

  • 1 package (650 g) Pinty’s Buffalo chicken wings

MEXICAN DIP

  • 1 package (250 g) cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) lime or lemon juice
  • 250 ml (1 cup) sour cream
  • 500 ml (2 cups) salsa
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 8 chive stems, chopped
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation

BBQ WINGS

  1. Cook the wings following the instructions on the package.
  2. While wings are cooking, make the dip.

MEXICAN DIP

  1. Drain the salsa using a strainer.
  2. Place cream cheese and juice in a bowl and combine using a fork.
  3. Add the sour cream, the drained salsa, cilantro, chives and black pepper.  
  4. Whisk ingredients well. Bake 30 minutes, remove aluminum foil and cook an additional 15 minutes.
