Chicken Chunk Ingredients: Chicken breast with rib meat, water, modified corn starch, salt, sodium phosphate. In a coating of enriched wheat flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), spices. Breading set in vegetable oil (canola and/or soybean).
Smoky Mountain Style Sauce Ingredients: High fructose corn syrup, invert sugar, water, tomato paste, brown sugar, corn syrup, salt. Less than 1% sugar, mustard, distilled vinegar, garlic powder, modified corn starch, dried onion, chili peppers, spices, natural & artificial flavor, caramel color, xanthan gum, hydrolyzed soy protein, autolyzed yeast.
To Maintain Freshness: Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate.
Thaw unopened sauce packets in warm tap water while chicken chunks are cooking.
Important: Do not heat sauce pouch in microwave and/or oven. Heat from frozen.
Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 450°f (232°c). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place frozen chicken chunks on the baking sheet, place on middle rack in oven and heat for 30 minutes, turning once, until heated through.
Fryer: Preheat oil to 400°f (204°c). Heat for 4 ½ – 5 minutes. Let stand 1-2 minutes before serving.
Pound Back the Chunks: In a large bowl, pour the smoky mountain style sauce over the heated chicken chunks and toss until evenly coated.
